Air Traffic Control Specialist

Minimum/General Experience: Individual must have a CTO Certificate and a current Class II Medical Certificate. Position is subject to drug testing per the DOT/FAA requirements (pre-employment, random, periodic, probable cause, post accident). Individual must have held a Control Tower Operator Certificate (CTO) with a facility rating for a minimum of two years in an Air Traffic Control Tower.
Sr. Air Traffic Control Specialist
Minimum of 15 years Air Traffic Control experience
5 years experience as an Air Traffic Control Supervisor
Must possess an extensive knowledge of the National Airspace System (NAS). This would include such items as:
- How the various NAVAIDS are used and contribute to the make up of the airway structure
- How Airway Facilities and Air Traffic organizations interrelate
- How Airports District Offices function and how they contribute to the NAS
- How the Flight Standards organization functions and contributes to the NAS
- Have knowledge of ADS-B and NEXGEN
- Have a thorough knowledge of the airspace structure and how ATCTs and ARTCCs relate
- How ATCTs and airport management relate and work together
- Understand and be able to develop airspace procedures
ARNG Air Traffic Control Specialist

Minimum/General Experience: Individual must possess or have held a secret clearance within the past five years or be eligible to obtain an interim secret clearance. In addition, individual must have a CTO Certificate and a current DOD Class II Medical Certificate administered by DOD flight surgeon. Position is subject to drug testing per AR 600-85 requirements (pre-employment, random, periodic, probable cause, post-accident). Individual must have held a Control Tower Operator Certificate (CTO) with a facility rating for a minimum of three years in an Airport Traffic Control Tower.
Ramp Tower Controller
Incumbent is responsible for the safe, orderly and expeditious flow of air traffic on the Non-movement areas of the Seattle Tacoma International Airport.
Incumbent works under the general supervision of the Ramp Tower Manager who relies on the incumbent to perform established duties independently. On new or revised procedures, the manager gives detailed instructions and observes and checks work during or immediately after completion according to complexity of the task or until satisfied the incumbent is able to perform the procedure independently.
1. Makes decisions involving:
a) The sequence and separation of gate traffic ready for pushback and engine start.
b) Plans the sequence of arriving traffic, using provided electronic aids, prior to arrival at the airport.
c) The merging of arriving and pushback traffic that will assure all aircraft equitable treatment and provide for minimum delays.
2. Determines the usability of and resolves problems with:
a) Communications equipment
b) Video Camera displays
c) STARS (radar) display
d) ASDE-X (radar) display
e) Gate Management computer programs
3. Seattle Ramp Tower is a positive control facility. Incumbent will be required to instruct aircraft how and when to push-back, instruct aircraft when to taxi, who to follow, taxi route, intermediate hold points, route clearance limit, and frequency transfer points.
4. Incumbent will initiate, and respond to, necessary coordination with SEA ATCT Ground Control concerning the movements of inbound and outbound aircraft.
5. Execute procedures required of the local Surface Movement Guidance and Control System Plan (SMGCS) during periods of reduced visibility, execution of the local Ice Threat Management Plan during periods of aircraft anti-icing, and the local Gate Hold program when initiated by the ATCT.
6. Provide flight crews with, when required, field conditions, altimeter settings, weather conditions, operating status of navigational aids and NOTAMS. Provide the ATCT with pilot reported or Ramp Controller observed adverse weather, bird activity and unsafe or unusual airport activities or conditions.
7. Determine whether a given situation is or may develop into an emergency; and notifies, via "Crash Phone", emergency services.
8. Performs lower grade level duties as necessary to meet operational requirements and for proficiency maintenance.
9. Provides OJT training to others.
Education:
High School Graduate
Experience:
Previous aviation experience is required as a minimum i.e. airline dispatcher, pilot, air traffic controller, experience handling aircraft on the airport ramp. A Control Tower Operator (CTO) Certificate is not required however individuals with a previous CTO will receive priority consideration. Position is subject to drug testing requirements (pre-employment, random, periodic, probable cause, post accident).
AF Specialist

Minimum/General Experience: Position requires a basic knowledge of the principles of electronics, automation, information management concepts, or other closely related field of work. Knowledge may have been gained through a minimum of one (1) year of graduate level education or a bachelor's degree earned with superior academic achievement of equivalent in experience, training or independent study, or a combination of education and experience.

Functional Responsibility: Performs a variety of activities and assignments designed to provide progressively responsible experience and training relating to the functioning of the National Airspace Systems (NAS). Typical duties include participating in on-the-job and formal training in specific systems and subsystems of the NAS, e.g., surveillance, automation, communications, navigational, etc. Performing assigned segments of projects involving the identification and corrections of systems problems and assisting employees that are more experienced by monitoring the status and performance of individual systems and subsystems. Attending conferences, meetings, and work sessions relating to functional area. Incumbent serves on rotational assignments and temporary details as required.

Sr. Electronic Engineer

Electronic Technician II
Minimum/General Experience: A minimum of four (4) years general experience working with electronic equipment/systems and one (1) year specialized experience on systems specific to the work performed.
Functional Responsibility: Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence and in selecting tools and testing instruments. Receives technical guidance as required, from supervisor or senior level technician. Review all work for compliance with accepted practices. May provide guidance to lower level technicians.
Minimum Education: AA/HS Diploma/Industry Recognized Certification/advanced Military or FAA training with appropriate professional experience.
Required License: Either a electrical low-voltage license or electrical contractor's license issued by the State of Florida.
Electronic Technician III
Minimum/General Experience: A minimum of six (6) years general experience working with electronic equipment/systems and two (2) years specialized experience on systems specific to the work performed.
Functional Responsibility: Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that can't be solved by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelations of circuits. Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating waveforms, and tracing relationships in signal flow. Uses complex text instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. May provide technical guidance to lower level technicians.
Must possess a FCC license and FAA verification credentials or have held FAA certification credentials on the following equipment: NDB, ILS, and DME
Minimum Education: AA/HS Diploma/Industry Recognized Certification/advanced Military or FAA training in engineering field with appropriate professional experience.
Test Proctor
Test Proctors required to administer pre-employment tests on an as-needed basis for Oklahoma City based company. Position may require extensive travel, skill in addressing small groups, as well as the ability to:
- Closely follow directions, procedures, and protocols;
- Work with personal computers and office equipment;
- Work effectively in a variety of settings;
- Ensure security for the duration of the testing event; and,
- Conduct business outside of normal office environments.
The qualified applicant will have:
- Education, training and experience in test administration;
- Experience in addressing small groups; and,
- Experience in using and setting up computers and other related equipment in a variety of settings.
Additionally, the qualified applicant will have the ability to move up to 100 lbs, crawl and bend without restriction, and will be able to obtain approval by a government agency to work under this effort.
